Rashna Mody Clark, winner of the prestigious PPA Designer of the Year, has held key roles in British magazine publishing and design for over 25 years. Titles to which she has contributed her unique eye have included Condé Nast Traveller, Esquire, House & Garden and Harper’s & Queen.

Rashna – brought up in Sydney, now living in London – left journalism to start her own design studio in 2003. She now works with a team of three other designers in her studio, pushing creative boundaries to produce work that exceeds expectations.

The range of projects includes creating comprehensive identities in print and digital, from logos to ads to company collateral, for luxury goods, hotels, bars, restaurants, shops and cafés. Identities are taken through all visual platforms, including packaging, signage and brochures, working in various mediums from print, digital, photography to film.

Rashna is currently consulting as the Creative Director for COMO Hotels and Resorts, and the Wellness brand COMO Shambhala, where she draws her visual strengths from her extensive experience in the luxury lifestyle and travel industries. She does this alongside content consultant, Sophy Roberts – a leading British journalist, who runs her own copywriting agency, New Vellum. Rashna and Sophy often collaborate on books, magazines and website work, including all work for COMO Hotels and Resorts.

You have a very graceful, clever, cultured eye.

Nicholas Coleridge

Rashna not only brings a brilliantly contemporary eye to every project she touches; she executes the most complex of jobs with grace, professionalism and a rare commitment to deadlines.

Sophy Roberts

Editorial Director

New Vellum

What I'm most pleased about is that the identity you created for us perfectly reflects our brand.

John Kennedy

CEO TeaSmith

Rashna has the incredible ability, skill and talent to make the ordinary look extra ordinary.

Caroline Metcalfe

Director of Photography

Rashna is a one-off. I respect her enormously for her passion, accuracy and incalculable talent.

Robin Harvey

Creative Director

Spring Studios

Like the iceberg, nine-tenths of good design is invisible, and really good designers have the discipline and self-control not to allow their work to draw attention to itself. I know we are very lucky to have such a person.

Susan Crewe

Editor

House & Garden

Rashna makes things feel as easy as clockwork with her sure instinct for a brief. And then to be elegant and stylish – it's the dream mix.

Vivienne Foley

Rashna Mody Clark brilliantly succeeds to balance traditional and modern elements. The appearance of House & Garden has continually evolved under her direction with new typography and innovative techniques being introduced with sensitivity and originality in a classic style. We were surprised and delighted to open this classic magazine to find the pages so fresh, inviting, clear and varied.
